Grammy Awards i USA – Söndag 4 februari 2024

Den 66e Grammy Awards hölls i Crypto.com Arena i Los Angeles söndag kväll 4 februari. Här är några av vinnarna där vi kan notera att Ludwig Göransson vann för sin filmmusik till Oppenheimer. Det var hans fjärde Grammy genom åren.

Det var de kvinnliga artisternas kväll. Phoebe Bridgers vann fyra Grammys inkl. två med Boygenius (Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance). Taylor Swift som för fjärde gången vann Bästa album. Även Miley Cyrus tog två tunga vinster. Faktiskt hennes första någonsin, Layney Wilson vann Best country album.

Joni Mitchell vann Folk music-priset för sitt livealbum från Newport. Hennes sammanlagt 10:e Grammy, 50 år efter sin första. Hon framförde även sin låt Both Sides Now på galan.

De två tunga bluespriserna gick till Larkin Poe och Bobby Rush..Den senare nu 90 år fyllda och här slog han bl,a vår egen Eric Bibb i Best Traditional Blues Album.

Luke Combs vann överraskande nog inte Best country solo performance för Fast Car. Den kategorin vann Chris Stapleton med White Horse. Men Combs fick göra låten live ihop med Tracy Chapman på galan. Den nu i mars 60-åriga Tracy hade spelat den på 1989 års Grammy-gala då hon också vann som bästa nya artist.
